Senior Business Development Manager – Mechatronic Systems

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to strengthen the growth of our business unit Mechatronic Systems, serving the high-tech industry with advanced engineering solutions.

Your role

As a Senior Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be on new business development. Together with the business unit director, group leaders and leading architects, you are part of the management team of the business unit, actively supporting strategic growth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing the sales pipeline in line with the business unit’s strategic roadmap.
  • Taking ownership of the full new business cycle, from lead generation to contract closing.
  • Identifying opportunities by analysing market trends and client needs, aiming for strategic growth or innovation.
  • Conducting market research to understand competitors and market dynamics, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with (potential) clients and strategic partners, based on trust and mutual value.
  • Representing Nobleo at network events, conferences and fairs to actively generate new leads.
  • Collaborating across Business Units to identify opportunities in areas such as AI, Battery Management, Embedded Software and Autonomous Solutions.
  • Acting as a strategic sparring partner for technical stakeholders and translating complex needs into feasible commercial proposals.
  • Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director and working closely with technical and business colleagues.

What we expect from you

To be successful in this role, you bring the following experience and qualities:

  • A master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is a strong advantage. A bachelor’s degree combined with relevant and proven experience will also be considered.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in an international sales role, focused on engineering services.
  • Strong networker with a track record in the high-tech industry.
  • Skilled in building strategic client relationships and understanding complex technical environments.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
