Agritech meets innovation in Osnabrück

In April, we joined partners from across the agritech field for a visit to the Osnabrück region, a region where agricultural innovation is closely connected to industry, research and regional collaboration. That combination made the programme highly relevant for everyone working on the future of agriculture.

Especially the visits to KRONE Agriculture, AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER SE & Co. KG and CLAAS stood out. We had the opportunity to tour their facilities and gain a closer view of how they translate long-term quality standards into production and innovation. Their R&D direction reflects a clear focus on reliability, practical value and technologies built for the future.

The group brought together a strong mix of agri-tech companies, including EOX Tractors, LUXEED Robotics, GPX Solutions – iQuus Autonomy, AgroExact, SOIL-Data, RapAgra BV, MCR Machinery, Innoveins Seed Solutions and Vegniek. Each plays a role in the move towards autonomous systems, data-driven decisions and scalable technologies in agriculture. The academic perspective came from Wageningen University & Research and Aeres University of Applied Sciences Dronten University, while organisations including Horizon Flevoland, Impuls Zeeland, Oost NL, FME, LIOF and Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo added a broader regional and industry perspective.
