We are seeking a Group Leader for our Embedded & Electronics department to oversee a team of 15–20 engineers. Your focus will be on supporting their professional growth, delivering high-quality solutions, and meeting the needs of our diverse clients.
As a Group Leader Embedded, you will oversee a group of 15–20 engineers who specialise in developing high-quality Embedded Systems. These systems often form the heart of larger applications, requiring expertise in areas such as diagnostics, functional safety, compliance, security, and system design.
• Coaching and mentoring your team in technical and interpersonal skills.
• Ensuring your team delivers effective Embedded Systems solutions tailored to client needs.
• Supporting the sales department with technical input for proposals.
• Driving process improvements, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating training or tooling initiatives.
• Aligning your team’s skills and knowledge with industry developments.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds an MSc in Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
• Has 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Possesses expertise in requirements engineering and system/software architecture.
• Stays up to date with advanced technologies and development practices.
• Demonstrates strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
• Is fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Thrives in a proactive and customer-focused environment.
